Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology strategy aligned with business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams in launching innovation pilots and proof-of-concepts
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage R&D budget allocation and resource optimization for future-focused projects
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and industry leaders
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record of executing multi-year digital transformation initiatives
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, blockchain, quantum computing, or biotech
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certification in strategic management or innovation management (e.g., CSM, TOGAF)
- Experience presenting to C-suite and influencing organizational change
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable strategies
