Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and autonomous systems
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech solutions into core products
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with $1B+ market potential
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Present future-tech visions to investors and industry stakeholders
- Drive innovation culture through internal hackathons and thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ in emerging tech
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Biotechnology, or related field
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Proven track record of launching commercialized future-tech products
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum algorithms, synthetic biology, or neuromorphic computing
- Experience securing $50M+ in R&D funding or venture capital
- Proficiency in futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Strong network within DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
