Responsibilities
- Architect strategic technology roadmaps targeting 2026-2030 market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints exploring quantum, bio-tech, and neural interfaces
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical AI implementation in critical infrastructure
- Forge partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) for R&D acceleration
- Translate complex scientific concepts into actionable business strategies for C-suite executives
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets with ROI-focused technology portfolio management
- Mentor a team of 12 futurists and technology architects
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering with 8+ years in tech strategy
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ successful launches)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Published research in IEEE Nature or equivalent (minimum 5 peer-reviewed papers)
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) or venture funding for frontier tech
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technological ecosystems
