Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop strategic roadmaps for AI, quantum computing, and biotech integration into enterprise ecosystems
- Partner with C-suite executives to position company as thought leader in emerging tech domains
- Design and execute proof-of-concept projects for next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Author white papers and present at global forums on technology evolution trajectories
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and venture capital teams
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (Master's with exceptional experience considered)
- 7+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging technology commercialization
- Demonstrated expertise in at least two future-tech domains: AI ethics, quantum applications, or neurotech
- Published research or patents in high-impact journals/conferences (Nature, IEEE, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Track record of successfully launching tech ventures with $10M+ valuation
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
