Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 industry disruption forecasts
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum, AR/VR, bio-integrated systems) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate technical concepts into business opportunities
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and track adoption metrics
- Partner with VCs and startups to scout next-generation technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
Qualifications
- 8+ years in tech strategy, product development, or innovation consulting
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or advanced materials science
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products or services
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology forecasting (e.g., CFIP preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning and trend analysis frameworks
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech (whitepapers/articles)
