Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year innovation roadmaps for quantum-AI convergence and biotech-digital integration
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' teams to prototype next-gen solutions in immersive environments
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Develop intellectual property portfolios with 15+ patent applications annually
- Translate market insights into product roadmaps with $10M+ R&D allocation oversight
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Mentor junior innovators through our 'Future Leaders' incubation program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership with proven 2020s innovation impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum, AI, AR/VR, or synthetic biology
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ commercialized innovations with $5M+ revenue impact
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Technique)
- Experience scaling innovation teams from 5 to 50+ members
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature Futures, or equivalent tier
