Responsibilities
- Lead the 2026 Strategic Roadmap: Architect and oversee the technical strategy for systems designed to meet the demands of 2026 and beyond, including AI integration and edge computing.
- Legacy Modernization: Spearhead the transition of legacy monolithic systems into microservices architectures to ensure scalability and agility.
- High-Availability Infrastructure: Design fault-tolerant systems that can withstand massive scale and ensure 99.99% uptime for critical global clients.
- Cloud & Edge Strategy: Define best practices for hybrid cloud environments and decentralized edge computing nodes.
- Team Mentorship: Guide a team of senior engineers and developers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, security experts, and data scientists to align technical architecture with business goals.
- Security & Compliance: Implement robust security protocols (Zero Trust architecture) to protect sensitive data in a rapidly evolving threat landscape.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior architect role.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and orchestration.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Java, with experience in functional programming paradigms.
- AI Integration: Demonstrated experience integrating machine learning models into production systems and managing data pipelines.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of designing scalable solutions for complex, high-volume problems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
