Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and forklifts with precision and safety
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Follow project blueprints and collaborate with site supervisors
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Document equipment usage and maintenance logs
- Train on new equipment technologies as they're introduced
- Participate in emergency response drills when required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operation experience
- Valid Class A CDL license (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic English proficiency (language support provided)
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (training available)
- Ability to work in extreme Alaskan weather conditions
- Willingness to relocate to Anchorage with full support
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screening
- Valid passport and eligibility for work authorization
