What You'll Do
As the Director of Future Technologies, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing emerging technologies that will define the industry landscape by 2026.
Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Roadmap: Develop a comprehensive long-term technology strategy that aligns with business goals and anticipates future market demands.
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Spearhead research and development projects in Artificial Intelligence, Quantum Computing, and Augmented Reality to ensure we are future-ready.
- Technology Forecasting: Continuously monitor global tech trends and assess their potential impact on our infrastructure and product offerings.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Build and lead a high-performing team of engineers and strategists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, sales, and executive leadership to communicate the value of emerging technologies.
- Resource Allocation: Make strategic decisions on budget, hiring, and technology acquisition to maximize ROI on innovation.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in senior leadership roles within the technology sector, with at least 5 years specifically in strategy or R&D.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree or PhD is highly preferred.
- Tech Stack Knowledge: Deep understanding of AI/ML, Blockchain, and Quantum Computing principles and their commercial applications.
- Strategic Vision: Proven ability to think long-term and translate complex technological concepts into business strategies.
- Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading diverse, high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
