Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and hand trucks to move, locate, and organize merchandise.
- Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, checking, and stocking incoming shipments; perform cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders efficiently to ensure 100% on-time delivery rates.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workspace, adhering to all safety regulations and company standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage or defects and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Documentation: Accurately complete necessary paperwork, such as packing slips and logbooks, to ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk throughout the facility.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and efficiency; punctual and consistent attendance.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions clearly.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation to and from the workplace.
