Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Materials: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload trucks in an efficient and timely manner.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage merchandise to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment to ensure safety standards are met.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of hazards to prevent workplace accidents.
- Shipping & Receiving: Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and inspect goods for damage.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols when handling goods.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is a plus.
- Equipment Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but we provide training for qualified candidates.
