Responsibilities
- Deliver packages and documents efficiently across Washington DC metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain customer signatures
- Ensure safe vehicle operation and conduct pre/post-trip inspections
- Communicate delivery status updates to dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes for timely delivery using GPS navigation
- Assist with package sorting and warehouse operations when needed
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid DC driver's license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs
- Smartphone proficiency for delivery tracking apps
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Excellent customer service communication abilities
