Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools like Splunk.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
- Implement and manage firewall policies and network security configurations.
- Respond to security breaches and coordinate recovery efforts.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards such as SOC2 and HIPAA.
- Provide security awareness training to employees.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH are highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
