Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and incidents in real-time within the Security Operations Center (SOC).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify system weaknesses.
- Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint protection solutions.
- Enforce security policies and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to remediate security vulnerabilities and patch systems.
- Generate and present detailed security reports to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or network security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or GSEC are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel) and threat intelligence platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure during active threats.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
