Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Inspect and maintain trucks to ensure DOT compliance
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper documentation
- Adapt routes for weather, traffic, and delivery schedules
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Complete electronic logs and regulatory paperwork accurately
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license required
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Basic navigation skills and familiarity with electronic logging devices
- Strong communication and time-management abilities
- No degree requiredâindustry training provided
