Responsibilities
- Strategic Vision: Develop and execute a comprehensive 5-year roadmap for AI governance, focusing on synthetic media, deepfakes, and autonomous decision-making systems.
- Policy Leadership: Draft and advocate for internal ethical guidelines and external compliance standards that anticipate upcoming 2026 regulations.
- R&D Consultation: Collaborate with technical leads to identify potential biases, safety risks, and societal impacts in emerging technologies.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison with government bodies, industry consortia, and international bodies to shape global standards.
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a cross-functional team of strategists, policy analysts, and futurists.
- Crisis Management: Lead the company's response strategy for technological anomalies or ethical breaches.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree or PhD in Law (JD), Computer Science, Public Policy, or a related field. A Juris Doctor (JD) with a technical background is highly preferred.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within Tech, Policy, or Government, with a specific focus on AI, Robotics, or Emerging Tech.
- Tech Fluency: Deep understanding of machine learning architectures, neural networks, and the current trajectory towards Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).
- Strategic Thinking: Proven track record of navigating complex regulatory environments and translating technical concepts into actionable business strategy.
- Communication: Exceptional public speaking and writing skills; ability to articulate complex ethical dilemmas to non-technical stakeholders and the public.
- Forward-Looking: Demonstrated ability to forecast industry trends and prepare organizations for the technological shifts of the next decade.
