Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in quantum machine learning and neural-symbolic AI
- Develop novel algorithms for autonomous decision-making systems with ethical safeguards
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize AI-quantum computing interfaces
- Publish peer-reviewed papers and present findings at top-tier conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation through hackathons and internal R&D
- Secure federal grants and industry partnerships for 2026-scale projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, AI, Physics, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Published work in NeurIPS/ICML/AAAI or equivalent quantum/AI conferences
- Expertise in PyTorch/TensorFlow and quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven track record in deploying AI systems at scale (>1M users/devices)
- Strong background in ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI development
- Experience securing NSF/DARPA grants or industry partnerships
- Fluency in Python/C++ with high-performance computing optimization skills
