Responsibilities
- Lead R&D initiatives for next-generation AI systems with 5-10 year implementation horizons
- Architect ethical AI frameworks for autonomous decision-making in critical infrastructure
- Develop predictive models for societal adoption of emerging technologies
- Partner with quantum computing teams to optimize hybrid classical-quantum algorithms
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite executives and industry consortiums
- Mentor cross-functional teams in emerging AI paradigms
- Author white papers on AI's role in solving 2030 grand challenges
Qualifications
- PhD in Machine Learning, Cognitive Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in AI research with 3+ years in strategic technology planning
- Published work in top-tier AI/ML conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
- Expertise in transformer architectures, reinforcement learning, and explainable AI
- Proven track record of translating research into commercial products
- Deep understanding of quantum computing fundamentals and NISQ-era limitations
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
