Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with emerging global standards
- Conduct risk assessments for autonomous systems and generative AI models
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees including engineers, legal, and domain experts
- Design transparent AI governance policies for deployment in regulated industries
- Advocate for ethical AI principles in product development lifecycles
- Produce thought leadership on AI ethics through whitepapers and industry forums
- Mentor junior ethicists and establish ethics training programs
Qualifications
- PhD or Master's in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years' AI ethics experience
- Deep expertise in AI fairness, bias mitigation, and explainable AI techniques
- Proven experience developing ethical frameworks for autonomous systems or LLMs
- Familiarity with EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and global AI governance standards
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex ethical concepts to technical teams
- Experience working with regulatory bodies and industry coalitions
- Published research or recognized contributions to AI ethics discourse
