Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI ethics frameworks aligned with IEEE 7001 and EU AI Act standards
- Conduct bias audits and fairness assessments for machine learning models
- Develop governance policies for AI lifecycle management from training to deployment
- Lead stakeholder workshops on ethical AI adoption with C-suite executives
- Monitor emerging regulatory landscapes and advise on compliance strategies
- Document AI decision processes for auditability and transparency
- Mentor junior engineers on responsible AI development practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Law, or related field
- 3+ years in AI governance, compliance, or ethics roles
- Deep understanding of bias mitigation techniques in ML systems
- Certification in AI ethics (e.g., IBM AI Ethics, Google Responsible AI)
- Experience with regulatory frameworks (GDPR, EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Strong technical aptitude with Python and ML frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for complex ethical discussions
- Published work on AI ethics or governance preferred
