Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with evolving regulatory landscapes
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and fairness assessments across production ML systems
- Lead cross-functional working groups to integrate ethical considerations into product roadmaps
- Author compliance documentation for FDA/ISO AI standards and emerging legislation
- Stakeholder engagement with external ethics boards and industry consortiums
- Incident response for AI system failures and ethical breach mitigation
- Drive research on emerging ethical challenges in generative AI and autonomous systems
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Policy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI governance, compliance, or responsible tech development
- Expertise in bias detection techniques and fairness metrics for ML models
- Deep knowledge of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and global AI regulatory trends
- Proven experience translating complex ethical concepts into technical requirements
- Strong background in privacy-preserving techniques like federated learning
- Certification in AI ethics or responsible AI (e.g., Google, IBM, or similar)
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
