Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (cotton, chilies, pecans)
- Operate and maintain farm machinery (tractors, harvesters)
- Inspect crops for quality and pest management
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides safely per EPA guidelines
- Perform field maintenance (irrigation, weeding, pruning)
- Assist in packing and sorting harvested produce
- Adhere to all OSHA and farm safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility
- Minimum 6 months prior farm experience
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme heat (up to 100°F)
- Basic English communication skills
- Physical stamina for 8-10 hour shifts
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to pass background check
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly
