Responsibilities
- Forecast technology trends and market disruptions through 2026 using advanced analytics and scenario modeling
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 5-year business objectives and market evolution
- Lead innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams to prototype future-state solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Present technology vision to executive leadership and board stakeholders with compelling data narratives
- Quantify ROI on emerging technology investments through market simulation and TCO analysis
- Build and mentor a high-performing futurist team focused on long-term technological exploration
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of successfully predicting and capitalizing on technology shifts (2015-2025)
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence, and decentralized systems
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or MBA with specialization in innovation
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Experience building and scaling innovation labs with measurable output
- Certification in Futures Research or Technology Assessment (preferred)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
