Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's 2026 technology foresight strategy, identifying disruptive innovations with 5-10 year market impact
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable energy ecosystems
- Architect proof-of-concept labs for emerging technologies, securing $2M+ annual R&D budgets
- Present strategic technology roadmaps to executive leadership and board members quarterly
- Forge strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other innovation accelerators
- Author annual 'State of the Future' reports published in industry-leading journals
- Mentor a 12-person innovation team of PhD-level technologists and data scientists
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field with 12+ years of strategic tech leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Deep expertise in at least three of these domains: AGI, molecular nanotechnology, fusion energy, or neurotech
- Executive presence with experience presenting to Fortune 500 boards and VCs
- Published thought leader with minimum 50 citations in IEEE/Nature journals
- Patent portfolio demonstrating scalable innovation (minimum 5 granted patents)
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global partnership development
