Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps identifying disruptive innovations and market inflection points
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (quantum, biotech, AR/VR) and assess commercial viability
- Design strategic frameworks for enterprise adaptation to future tech paradigms
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future technology adoption
- Author thought leadership publications and deliver keynote presentations at industry forums
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for future tech incubation
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory trends affecting technology deployment timelines
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years in strategic technology planning
- Proven track record in forecasting technology trends with 3+ years in futurist or innovation strategy roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, quantum, or biotech)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Experience developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
