Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead R&D initiatives in AI, quantum computing, and immersive technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging threats and opportunities
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proof architectures
- Present innovation frameworks to investors and industry stakeholders
- Mentor junior technologists in future-focused skill development
- Drive patent strategy for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing futuristic technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, or biotech
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Published research in peer-reviewed tech innovation journals
- Experience securing $10M+ in tech innovation funding
- Strong proficiency in scenario planning and trend analysis tools
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology preferred
