Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends to develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping futuristic solutions
- Present technology forecasts to executive leadership and board members
- Secure partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Develop intellectual property portfolios for emerging innovations
- Represent company at global tech summits and policy forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record in forecasting tech market disruptions
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, Quantum, etc.)
- Experience securing $5M+ innovation budgets
- Prior board-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in tech publications
