Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year innovation roadmaps mapping technology convergence points for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead scenario-planning workshops modeling socioeconomic disruptions in post-2025 markets
- Manage R&D pipelines for emerging tech (quantum AI, neuro-interfaces, climate resilience systems)
- Forge strategic alliances with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Translate complex future-state concepts into actionable business cases and investment theses
- Mentor cross-functional teams in anticipatory design methodologies and systems thinking
- Present strategic blueprints to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic consulting, corporate innovation, or futures research
- Proven track record developing 5+ year technology roadmaps for global enterprises
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, climate AI)
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Studies)
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field
- Experience with scenario modeling tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, STEEP)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex futures into executable business strategies
- Portfolio of published future-state frameworks or innovation roadmaps
