Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for strategic decision-making
- Present future-state analyses to executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Architect innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term organizational objectives
- Establish thought leadership through industry publications and conference presentations
- Partner with R&D to validate emerging opportunities
- Mentor junior futurists and build foresight capabilities across departments
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executable strategies
- Strong data visualization and presentation skills
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Experience publishing thought leadership in reputable journals
