Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends to forecast 2026+ industry disruptions and opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future-proofing strategies
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with data-driven strategic recommendations
- Identify and partner with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Design organizational resilience protocols for systemic risks (climate, geopolitical, digital)
- Mentor innovation teams in foresight methodologies and adaptive planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futurism, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies or systemic change
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AGI development, or synthetic biology
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term transformation
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major future-strategy implementations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or equivalent (e.g., CF foresight)
