Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives to identify disruptive trends affecting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight models for quantum computing, AI ethics, and sustainable tech
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align 2026 corporate vision with emerging market opportunities
- Author visionary whitepapers that position Horizon Dynamics as the thought leader in future technologies
- Manage a global network of futurist advisors and academic partnerships
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and climate-related disruptions
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic planning or futurism at Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurist journals or industry publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies
