Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-2030 strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum AI, synthetic biology, climate resilience)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify paradigm shifts in consumer behavior and industrial automation
- Produce annual 'Horizon Scan' reports forecasting regulatory and market disruptions
- Design ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration
- Partner with R&D to incubate moonshot projects with $50M+ innovation budgets
- Represent the company at Davos, TED, and global tech summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent with 8+ years forecasting experience
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on technological singularity impacts
- Expertise in scenario planning using Delphi method and causal layered analysis
- Portfolio demonstrating influence on policy or corporate strategy (e.g., UN SDG contributions)
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (Gartner, Forrester) and predictive modeling
- Track record of securing $10M+ budgets for experimental initiatives
- Fluency in 3+ languages with international stakeholder experience
