Responsibilities
- Develop and implement horizon-scanning frameworks to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Produce forward-looking strategic briefings for executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for future market challenges
- Establish and maintain thought leadership through white papers, conference keynotes, and industry publications
- Partner with R&D teams to translate future scenarios into actionable product development roadmaps
- Analyze geopolitical and socioeconomic trends to anticipate regulatory and market implications
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal future-readiness competency framework
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Proven track record of translating complex future scenarios into business strategy
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model interconnected global systems
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and horizon scanning tools
- Demonstrated ability to influence C-level decision-making through data-driven narratives
