Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026-2030 technology foresight framework using predictive analytics and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for emerging challenges (quantum resilience, AGI alignment, climate tech)
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and board members with data-driven strategic recommendations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to capture cutting-edge breakthroughs
- Design ethical frameworks for next-generation AI systems and autonomous technologies
- Author quarterly future-state briefings for investors and key stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and innovation specialists in strategic thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products or policy changes
- Expertise in scenario planning, technology roadmapping, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and public speaking experience
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state projects with measurable impact
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
