Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-year innovation roadmaps for quantum AI applications
- Identify emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential through patent analysis and academic partnerships
- Design sustainable infrastructure blueprints for next-gen smart cities using IoT and blockchain
- Secure $50M+ in R&D funding through strategic government and venture capital partnerships
- Present breakthrough concepts to C-suite executives and board of directors quarterly
- Mentor junior researchers in ethical innovation frameworks and future-gazing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Systems Engineering, or Futuristics (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years in R&D leadership with 3+ patents in emerging tech fields
- Proven track record of securing >$30M in innovation grants/funding
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Published research in Nature, Science, or IEEE journals post-2020
- Advanced proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum simulation tools
- Fluency in Mandarin or German for global partnerships
