Responsibilities
- Design and implement 2026 technology roadmaps covering quantum computing, AI ethics, and renewable energy integration
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, AI researchers, and sustainability experts in prototyping breakthrough solutions
- Develop policy frameworks for ethical AI deployment and quantum governance with international bodies
- Secure $10M+ annual R&D funding through strategic partnerships with government agencies and Fortune 100 companies
- Present future-vision blueprints to C-suite executives, board members, and venture capitalists
- Oversee patent portfolios and intellectual property strategy for emerging technologies
- Mentor next-generation innovators through our QuantumLeap Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years in R&D leadership
- Proven track record in quantum computing or advanced AI systems implementation
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) or corporate venture funding
- Published research in Nature/Science with >500 citations in emerging technologies
- Deep understanding of EU AI Act, US National Quantum Initiative, and UN SDGs
- Technical fluency in quantum algorithms, neural network architectures, and carbon capture technologies
- Exceptional ability to translate complex concepts into executable business strategies
- Global network connections with academic institutions and policy think tanks
