Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with market forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging tech solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and evaluate strategic startup investments
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite executives and board stakeholders
- Establish KPIs for measuring technology adoption and ROI in future markets
- Represent the company at global tech summits and future-focused conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies post-2020
- Expertise in at least three of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable tech
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech investment analysis
- Certification in emerging technology forecasting (e.g., Gartner, MIT)
- Experience managing multi-million dollar R&D budgets
- Published thought leadership in future technology trends
- PhD or MBA from top-tier institution with tech specialization
