Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year technology innovation roadmap targeting 2026 breakthroughs in quantum computing, biotech convergence, and sustainable AI
- Lead cross-functional teams of PhD researchers, engineers, and business strategists in developing next-generation prototypes
- Establish strategic partnerships with global research institutions and government innovation initiatives
- Present visionary technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members with clear ROI projections
- Secure $10M+ annual R&D budget allocation for high-potential emerging technology projects
- Drive patent strategy for proprietary innovations targeting 2026 commercialization milestones
- Mentor junior innovators through our 'Future Founders' incubation program
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies with measurable market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic AI, or climate tech
- Executive-level presentation skills with experience briefing Fortune 500 leadership teams
- Published research or patents in peer-reviewed technology journals
- Experience managing $5M+ R&D budgets and cross-continental innovation teams
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
