Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology) to identify 2026 market opportunities
- Develop multi-year innovation roadmaps aligning with UN SDGs and US tech initiatives
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of PhDs and industry veterans in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and federal innovation councils
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through DOE and NSF partnerships
- Build ecosystem partnerships with MIT Media Lab and NASA JPL
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computational Biology, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic innovation at Fortune 500 or top-tier research institutions
- Published research in Nature/Science on emerging technologies
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proven track record of scaling breakthrough innovations to market
- Security clearance (or ability to obtain) for federal collaboration
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, R, Julia)
