Responsibilities
- Develop and lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping technological, economic, and societal trends through 2026
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize innovation investments in exponential technologies
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging risks and opportunities in global markets
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with future paradigms
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026 industry transformation
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting long-term tech adoption
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of scenario-planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling capabilities for complex concepts
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Published research or patents in emerging technology domains
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from APF or WFS) preferred
