Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging opportunities and threats across AI, quantum computing, and biotech sectors
- Produce strategic roadmaps with 36-48 month timelines for innovation initiatives and market expansion
- Establish KPIs to track technological adoption curves and competitive disruption metrics
- Present findings to executive stakeholders with data-driven visualizations and compelling narratives
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs to accelerate R&D
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic shifts affecting technological adoption in key markets
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 5 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and their market implications
- Exceptional data visualization skills with proficiency in tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Strong stakeholder management experience across C-suite, technical teams, and external partners
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from ACIF or Foresight Practitioners Network)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic foresight projects with measurable outcomes
