Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market disruptions, and societal shifts impacting 2026-2030
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks integrating AI, biotech, climate resilience, and quantum computing
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning models for executive stakeholders
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into actionable innovation pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members with compelling data visualization
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Anticipate ethical implications of emerging technologies and develop responsible innovation guidelines
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Minimum 7 years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial opportunities or policy frameworks
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in scenario modeling tools
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and influencing high-stakes decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic initiatives
- Global perspective with understanding of geopolitical and socioeconomic drivers
