Responsibilities
- Forecast disruptive technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, climate AI) with 3-5 year horizon impact models
- Develop strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients navigating 2026 market landscapes
- Lead scenario-planning workshops using probabilistic modeling and trend analysis
- Author white papers on ethical implications of emerging tech (deepfakes, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Build cross-functional innovation pipelines with R&D, venture capital, and academic partners
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies and pattern recognition
- Present findings to C-suite executives and government policy boards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (AI, biotech, climate tech)
- Expertise in horizon scanning tools (Delphi method, STEEP analysis, weak signal detection)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful trend-to-implementation pipeline
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and scenario modeling software
- Experience advising C-suite on technological disruption and future-proofing strategies
