Responsibilities
- Analyze technological, social, and economic mega-trends to create 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Develop scenario-planning models for disruptive technologies including quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Produce quarterly trend reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research organizations to pioneer 2026 forecasting methodologies
- Monitor global policy shifts and regulatory changes impacting future technology landscapes
- Mentor junior futurists and build a dedicated foresight analytics team
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systemic analysis methodologies
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies or future-of-work trends
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling software
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term technology strategy
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from ACIF or WFS) preferred
