Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technological trends with 5-10 year impact potential
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product innovation pipelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-vision priorities
- Produce trend intelligence reports with data-backed forecasting methodologies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-generation concepts
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and tech symposiums
- Mentor junior futurists and establish foresight best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Minimum 5 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level presentations
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation publications
