Responsibilities
- Forecast and map technological, societal, and economic trends shaping 2026-2030 landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for exponential tech adoption (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University partners
- Architect strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market positioning
- Present trend analyses to Fortune 100 clients and internal leadership councils
- Manage a $2M innovation incubator portfolio for emerging technologies
- Mentor junior futurists and publish quarterly trend reports in industry journals
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in exponential technologies or scenario planning
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (Gartner, Forrester, Futures Platform)
- Experience with Delphi method and cross-impact matrix methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major trend implementations
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (APF or CFS) preferred
- Exceptional storytelling abilities for complex concepts
