Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech/science trends (2024-2026) to forecast market disruptions and competitive threats
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for 5-10 year horizon planning
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype next-gen solutions
- Produce quarterly horizon reports with executive-level recommendations
- Establish KPIs for innovation adoption and future-readiness metrics
- Represent company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or corporate futurism
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Expertise in at least three emerging domains: quantum computing, neurotech, or climate resilience
- Strong data visualization and scenario planning skills
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurism journals
- Experience with Delphi methodology and horizon scanning frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical storytelling
