Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technological, economic, and social trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 5-10 year horizons, aligning with corporate vision
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into innovation initiatives
- Author whitepapers and executive briefings on disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for 2026 challenges (e.g., quantum computing integration)
- Monitor global policy/regulatory changes affecting future tech deployment
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology planning
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into business value
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Portfolio of published futurist work or strategic roadmaps
