Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping breakthrough solutions
- Establish industry partnerships with Fortune 500 innovation labs
- Conduct horizon scanning for disruptive technologies in quantum/AI/robotics
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and board members
- Secure patents and publish white papers in top-tier journals
- Mentor junior futurists in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Futurology with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, AGI safety, or synthetic biology
- Published author in Nature/Science or equivalent tier publications
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight tools
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Portfolio of 3+ successfully commercialized innovations
