Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026-2030
- Develop strategic frameworks for emerging domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI ethics)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into product roadmaps
- Author thought leadership whitepapers and present insights to industry stakeholders
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-generation solutions aligned with future trends
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting innovation ecosystems
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight network
Qualifications
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking
- Proven track record translating foresight into business strategy
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, biotech, Web3, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field
- Published thought leadership in innovation/tech publications
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis)
